"I purchased my dinnerware (two sets) three years ago and many pieces are chipping. The cups also are staining badly. Can these items be returned?? It is yellow in colour."

Looks great and performs well

"The looks and style is very modern, beautiful, simple and high end. It does feel a bit 'thin' and light in my opinion and the plates are very flat. Because it feels a bit fragile, I do make sure I wash them carefully by hand Never had issues with black streaks that others report, got them when they were 47$ each set on sale. Would recommend these as great looking everyday dinnerware but take care of them if you want them to last."

Black Streaks on Dinnerware

"I love this dinnerware set and bought 2 sets last Feb./10. Shortly afterwards, the plates began to have black streaks on them. Canadian Tire was good enough to replace all 8 of the plates. I have refrained from using the heat-dry on the dishwasher. However, now these new plates have black streaks on them as well as the bowls, salad plates and cups. I am so disappointed because they are such a beautiful design and have a clasic bone china appearance."

Poor quality for the price

"I do not recommend these dishes. I've had my set for just 6 months. I find that they are so porous that every single cup of coffee stains the mugs. I have to bleach them to get them clean. Also, I had a bowl crack when I put hot cereal in it. Now I'm afraid every time i want to put something hot on these dishes that they'll break.
For $80 I expect a far better product from Canadian Tire. Especially with Debbie Travis' name on it."

Beautiful, Affordable Bone China

"I love these dishes. They have a beautiful aesthetic quality about them. They are bone china so although durable, there is a little extra care that goes into keeping them looking great. Google "caring for bone china" and instructions are readily available on the internet."

Discoloration

"I purchased the Soho china from the Polo Park store in Winnipeg in the spring of 2010. We use it every day and the plates are becoming discolored. Dark streaking is very evident on the plates and the cups have to be rinsed immediately after use or they retain a coffee/tea ring. I like the design but the quality is definitely lacking."

Love These Dishes

"I bought 4 sets when they were on sale for both everyday and good! They are beautiful in any setting. Wish there were serving pieces to match. I did find a teapot & cream & sugar at Bowerings that match also a covered vegetable dish but would like to get additional pieces. I would recommend them to anyone looking for good white dishes at a reasonable price, especially when on sale for 40% off!!"

Love Love Love These Dishes

"Used Johnson Brothers for 20 years & had a really hard time finding something I liked as much until I found these dishes. Style is classic, white is purest, weight is fabulous. We use them everyday & everyday I think, wow, I really love these dishes! Well worth the hunt & well worth the price."

"These dishes are great for everyday use, but are classic enough to use when you have company. The white is timeless.
For a set of four, they're a bit expensive in comparison to other dishes but well worth it."
