Sylvania Kitchen Under-Counter CD Player

"I read in the reviews before purchase that this product had a flawed cd drawer. Would not open. I tried it out BEFORE drilling holes in my new cabinets. The sound was good, radio worked well, cd drawer would not open. I tried direct and via remote control. It would not open. And i tried everything short of taking it apart. I read the entire booklet and nothing under trouble shooting or instructions themselves that would indicate some shipping block or any such thing. I returned it for a refund. Not exchange."

"Sounds awful, can barely hear it above my range hood and now the cd does not work right anymore.
Buy a name brand, not RCA/Curtis International I think it's a part of Curtis now."

Avoid it

"After drilling holes in my counter and installing the first cd under cabinet player..the CD changer slot wouldnt open regardless of what i tried. So, since the holes were already drilled i packed it up and took it back for a replacement. Same thing for the second one, CD tray wouldnt open. i searched thu directions thinking there was a locking /or packing screw to prevent movement during shipping. No mention of one . Taking the second one back,,not sure if im going to bother with the third attempt. Thankfully CDN Tire is good for replacing things. Thankfully i live closeby or id really be ticked off."

"I bought the Curtis Kitchen Under-Counter CD Player to my kitchen. I think it is very convenient. It does not take much place and look nice. I also like the price. And my mother like it. Thanks to Canadian Tire."

"I got this radio to replace another brand that I had because it had the connection for my MP3 player but am very disappointed - the sound is tinny and the dial to tune in the stations is almost impossible to use. If I hadn't broken a piece when installing, I would have returned it."

"This is a very poor quality radio, it has poor sound quality, which I could have lived with if it could at least catch some of the local radio stations, which it has a very difficult time doing.
