"This unit goes on sale quite frequently. For the sale price, it's well worth-it to buy a second one. Keep a grinding disc on one and a cutting disc on the other....saves the hassle of changing the discs."

A nice little unit

"I bought one of these on sale for around $20 about a year and a half ago. I've used it a lot in that time -- grinding welds, removing rust, and slotting concrete. It has worked great, and has pretty good power for a little 4 1/2" angle grinder.

I'll probably buy a 2nd one if they go on sale again. For that price, it's convenient to have a few around with different attachements mounted. $20, 3-year warranty, how can you lose?"

Stay Away

"Bought this on sale a year ago. For 19.99, I thought I might have a use for it someday. How could I go wrong? ..Well, that day came along... The one and only time I used it, the motor burned out. About half-way through the job, it was slowing down when only slightly under load. Believe it or not, it died just as I finished. This is not a $60 tool (its regular price). C.T. were great about the honouring the 3 year warranty, but I chose to just get my money back."

Very Good product

"I bought this about a year ago when it was on special and needed to use it for a small project just recently to get some repairs around the house. and I cannot complain about this grinder. It performed fantastically. Without having any problems with using a wire brush that I had gotten for it. And worked to my expectations of what I need it to do. I would recommend this to friends and family."

Serious Grinder

"Out of the box I took fence posts down with this.
Have used it on rebar cement blocks - no problem.
Have used it on cinder blocks with no problem.
This little guy will cut through anything and everything.

Pro's:
Never gives up. Just go go go.

Con's:
Be sure to turn it off when you're done -
OR you'll get a scary surprise next time you plug it in.

Highly recommend. Remember your gloves and goggles all the time... :)"

Motor is great....lock button not so much

"I found the motor on this grinder is fantastic. I got it on sale for $19.99. I used it for countless hours at a time without fail.

The push button to change disks broke, now I must use a nail in the hole to remove the disk. Not a huge deal, but annoying at times.

The grinder disks that come with it are not of high quality, but for 20 bucks for a grinder with some disks, you can't go wrong."

Failed miserably

"I gave up on trying these grinders. Bought one used it only twice within a month, before it would not turn on at all. Returned it for another, did not get to finish the first job. It sometimes would not start - start then stop and start by itself later if I the switch was locked on.Took the second one back and was given my money back."

"I am very satisfied with this grinder. I used it to shape interlock slabs. It didnt get warm or hesitate once, and those stones are tough.Definetly worth the full price ."

you can buy a sanding disc for the grinder....several grits available. good for a variety of projects. i used bondo to repair some rust areas on some steel doors and used the grinder with a sanding disc to shape and smooth them out.
