"There is no way to turn off the unit. Setup is horrible and instructions are lousy. I dont trust the accuracy of body fat results. Going back!"

Not Worth the Frustration

"Instructions are misleading and incorrect. One cannot switch over to Imperial. It stays on Metric. In Set up mode, where they write 'Height', it's written, 'your WEIGHT' will appear. (???)
Can hardly see information on Display window. I just spent over 2 hrs. trying to figure out if I could get this item to work as it advertises... impossible. Save your money, save yourself the frustration and I would highly recommend this item be discontinued by CDN Tire. I wouldn't accept this even if someone gave it to me as a gift. The only thing that's good on it is the clock."

Terrible Pedometer

"It MIGHT work if a person could figure out how to set it, particularly if you want to use Imperial measurements, which I do. There is NO WAY to change from the default of Metric to Imperial. There is nothing in the instructions or online. Instructions are terrible. I took the back off wondering if perhaps there was a hidden switch . There wasn't. I am definitely returning this item. It's not worth 2 cents, much less $19.99."

Useful product to check BMI

"I bought this on sale so I could check my Body Mass Index. The measurements are in metric so I used an online measurement calculator to convert my weight from pounds to kilograms and same with my hight from inches to centimeters.

I didn't have any difficulty with the device such as the ones mentioned by other reviewers.

It comes with a battery however if you need to replace it, it uses a CR2025*3 lithium battery."

"I bought this because it was on sale for half-price. I am a fairly bright person but the instructions made no sense whatsoever -- clear as mud. Definitely NOT user-friendly and very frustrating to try to figure out. I decided that life was too short and took it back for a refund."

Pointless....

"This. Does. Not. Work. Set it up just outside store - was unusable and stuck on the body fat calculator by the time I got home - which took all of five minutes. Completely useless product which I will be taking back."

"The instructions were horrible. How do you measure your stride? I had no idea and it doesn't even explain it to you. Just indicates to enter your stride. I spent forever looking it up on the internet. Originial price was $24.99 and I got it for $7.49. Still too much to pay for this device."

how do you change from metric to imperial? One thing C.T. may wish to address when buying stuff from China

Answer:

There is no way it seems to do that. True about many products at CT - I've had similar issues from CT.

Have the same problem - e-mailed manufacturer & they said those sold in Canada are only in Metric. Those sold in the U.S. are Imperial. So nothing you can do. I guess we'll just have to learn Metric! Angie

Answer:

Have the same problem - e-mailed maunfacturer & they say those sold in Canada are only in Metric & those sold in the U.S. are Imperial so there is nothing you can do. Guess we'll have to learn Metric!
