Kind of Surprised

"I bought this on sale yesterday for $40 and fully expected to be returning it today as something that just didn't work well for the price. Was I kind of surprised! It works amazingly well. I can't believe all it got out of four small area rugs. And that was after vacuuming them just two weeks ago with a Dyson. Not only did it do a great job of picking up the bits of fir tree that get tracked into my place but there was a huge wad of grey dust as well! I wasn't expecting that!

A great little vacuum for the $. I just hope it holds together as it seems very cheaply made - all plastic and very lightweight. But then again, at this price I wouldn' t mind too much if it only lasted a year or two!"

Awesome for apartments

"I have terrible dust allergies, and I needed a vacuum that could deal with dust but that would be easy to store and manoeuvre in a small apartment. This one was perfect. I got it on special for $49.99, and figured that at that price, I couldn't go wrong. Well, this vacuum is surprisingly powerful for something so compact and lightweight. It uses a HEPA filter to deal with the dust without blowing it back out into the air, which is great for my allergies. And best of all, I can lift it with one hand easily, and it takes up practically no storage space. After years of fighting with a bulky canister vac, this has been a godsend. It was easy to assemble, too, which was helpful considering I'm useless at that sort of thing. My only complaint would be that the hose attachment isn't quite long enough to reach high-up surfaces. But other than that, this is pretty much the ideal vacuum for apartment-dwellers, particularly upper triplex dwellers like me."

Excellent value for money

"I was very sceptical that a vacuum for under $50 would be any good, I've always had the top of the range expensive stuff, but based on the other ratings I got one (I figured I could always return it if it was terrible). I have to say it's pretty amazing, The unit is very lightweight, you can lift it with your finger, it's powerful and (importantly if you live in an apartment) it's small, even the handle slides back into the body so it takes-up less closet space.

I was amazed, and slightly embarrassed, by the amount of dust and dirt it got out of my carpets.

So, the choice is yours, spend $50 on a fantastic product that gets the job done, or spend 10 times that for the other brand."

"awesome unit for under $90 you cant go wrong. This unit cleans like crazy. Last week i carpet cleaned the rugs with a bissele carpet cleaner, then last night i vacuumed the rug with my old unit.. I bought this one today and what a difference even after i did all the cleaning with the old units there was still dirt in my rug. Used this unit and it picked up cat hair and fine dust out of my rug. BUY IT NO QUESTIONS ASKED HERE ON THIS UNIT. Worth the money"

Great Value Buy

"This is the best value vacuum I've ever bought. It still works great and I've had it since August 2010. Perfect for small downtown condo/apt dwellers. Lightweight & save storage space. I own a cat and it traps so much fur like you won't believe. The only complain I have is that the hose is not long enough to use with the additional nozzles."

This little Devil is a gem!

"I was skeptical because of the low price, after returning a 6 lb heavy hand vac from another manufacturer which had the same price, no HEPA filter, no shoulder strap, and the attachments were poor quality brittle plastic, hard to fit and handle. I needed a small vacuum cleaner for "in between" jobs, and with this little Devil I can do a very thorough carpet cleaning! What a pleasant surprise! First, the only assembly required is one screw/bolt to lock in the handle. Everything else is pre-assembled. It has a HEPA filter which is easy and inexpensive to replace, a clear dust cup, easy to see what's accumulated inside, and better quality plastic and fit than the same price hand vac brand I returned. The cord is 30ft long, and it has a nice texture to it. It attaches through a little clip up by the top loop handle, so you don't need two hands to drag it along. The dust cup locks in positively with a click, and it is easy to clean: it has a push-lock that drops down the bottom lid, so the dirt can be deposited right in the trash bin. There is some hand cleaning needed though, as the finer dust and pet hair tends to accumulate in the upper cup, by the HEPA filter. Opening the top and removing the HEPA filter is a breeze, and the are clear arrows indicating how to open and lock back. Even the HEPA filter is clearly indicated which side is up/down, so there is no guess work in how to put it back in. Very easy and lightweight, only 11lbs, motorized brush, two attachments: a brush and a crevice tool which mount by the handle, above the dust cup. Even the stretcheable hose feels like a better quality plastic, even though it's not very stretcheable, and yes, you really need an extension wand to reach down without bending, or to clean higher surfaces. Unfortunately, none is provided, but I'll go looking for a universal extension wand, because it's worth it. The power brush has no on/off, so be careful if you have rugs with fringes! Also, the power brush can lie completely flat for hanging on a wall, or for access under the beds, furniture, etc. My main complaints are: no on/off for the power brush, no extension wand (go get a universal one), and the fact that it doesn't lock standing up very easily, so you need to jam it a bit, or rest it against something when you pause to empty the dust cup. Taller people may find they need to stoop a bit, too, and I wouldn't recommend it for stairs. The noise is a bit above average, but not too bad. Overall, with a 2-year manufacturer warranty, plenty of power to remove pet hair, no bags to buy, and inexpensive replacement parts, how can you go wrong? This little Devil won't replace your expensive canister vac, but for all it does, it's a gem."

Surprising pickup power.

"I couldn't believe how much pickup power this little vacuum has.We live on a farm so in and out all day,always tracking stuff in.I needed something just to quickly vacuum.Looks little but does a big job.Love it."

Works well on my laminate, vinyl and ceramic tile floors. Assume it would be fine on hardwood, but I haven't tried. I'd say to test on a small surface to make sure it doesn't scratch first.

This unit works well on hardwood floors, but you might want to consider either a straight suction unit or one that comes with bare floor attachment, if you have only hardwood floors at home.
