I like my vacuum

"Simple, basic vacuum. Hubby bought this on sale. Good value for the money. Have had it for more than a year. Plastic tube on the hard floor cleaning head has cracked a little. Overall: inexpensive, does it's job, no complaints."

"this vaccuum is great if you only need one for 2 years before it doesnt work anymore. you can tell gradually it looses its power and then in the end leaves everything on the ground"

I wish this has a better warenty

"I have had this for exactly a year, seems like Shark has added a timer on it so when the warranty expires then fails. the power head stop working. It was a good vacume until the power head stopped working, my lcuk! this is my 2nd one that faied right at the end of the warranty period! Too bad that CT does not offer extended warranty."

Love My Shark

"Bought one of these about 6 years ago and I love it.
I use it for dusting instead of a rag as I have pets and sometimes a rag just doesn't pick up all the fur.
My power head has gone on the fritz but I think it's just a loose wire as I can jiggle it and it will work. Just need to get it fixed. After six years I think thats pretty good.
My hubby bought us a Dyson roller ball vacuum (expensive floor weight now) and I don't even use it...the ball is to big to fit under furnature and using the attachments is a pain in the butt, not to mention it is very heavy. I don't like not having bags, when you empty the canister the dust goes every where.
I definately prefer my Shark."

It sucks ... in a good way!

"Bought it on sale for $129, half off... The suction is fantastic cleaning up cat hair that my previous vacuum left behind.

Had a hard time pushing it thru plush carpet, however going to use the level bar at the bottom of the motorhead as suggested by another reviewer. The floor attachment worked great for my carpeted stairs and less cumbersome. Happy with purchase!"

Great Vacuum

"I'm impressed.
I was lucky to buy at $129 and so far it does a great job.
Strong suction. I have several pets so hair is a problem. Sucked it right up.
I like the telescopic handle. Makes it easier cleaning stairs.
The floor attachment does a marvelous job on hardwood/ceramic
Not very heavy or cumbersome
I would definitely recommend"

Great suction easy clean

"I have noticed that hair clogs in wand near where the two pieces meet, but easily comes apart to clear with broomstick. My vacuum broke at the base of the power head after the warranty was up, and, dealing with euro pro was great. It did cost me the price plus reasonable shipping, but I am so impressed with the vacuum's performance, it was worth every penny to me. I have a friend who has the same vacuum and no teenagers. Hers shows no sign of breaking where mine did and she likes hers just as much."

A cute little sucker

"And good value at that! Especially for $129 (50% off).
I am happy.
Carpet sweeper - If you are struggling to push it through a plush carpet, raise the level.
Take note. If you turn the sweeper off (at the handle), and leave the motor running (large foot button on the unit), AND you push the wand forward in the stand-up locked position you have choked off the air which not only cleans your floor but cools the engine. The high whine that you hear is your motor getting ready to burn out. Burial comes next.
Hose - its cheap. So what, so am I. The last one of these I saw had more kinks than Sammy Davis Jr's hair. You can get a real nice hose for $225 OR if it curls, don't yank it. Simple as that.
Flat floor tool - this is a piece of junk, throw it out immediately. Trucks and trains have wheels. So does this thing. And they only go in the direction that you do not want to go. Bearings I could understand but wheels? And the wheel housing requires an elbow which lifts the sucker off the floor if you lower the wand to go under something. Keep your old accessories.
The red rocket - if it seems scratched, it could be hose marks which will come off with M e g u i a r' s fine cut auto wax. The stuff is magic on anything."

Changed my mind.. I like it now

"I reviewed below about the problem with the hose and the wire that runs down the center. I returned that one to CT and got a replacement. It appears that the wire has been attached better and I didn't have problems with it like I did with the old one. I just lost the replacement to a flood and after a mis-guided step with a Hoover, I'm going back tomorrow to pick one of these up."

"My husband and I spent forever looking at vacuums and comparing reviews, despite the mixed reviews for this one we picked it up - I will never regret it - such a GREAT vacuum.

The Good - Amazing suction... it actually took up a piece of my runner on my stairs, with this being said the suction is adjustable - I learned this to late. it is super easy to add/remove attachments and manuever. The beater bar has so much power you can actually feel it pulling down on the the rug. Also, I know there is a review here that mentioned they had it for a short timebefore it broke. I brought this puppy home and took it through a MASSIVe spring cleaning and was consistantly amazed with its strengh and performance... running it for long periods of time with 3 pets and a lot of hair... not a single issue.

The only downfalls with this vac are that it seems to get tripped up in itself, the cord and hoses and such seem to get easily tangled. Also, the red finish is easily scraped up... I have several scratches on mine already and I'm not really sure how they happened. The cord was also shorter than that of my last vacuum - but the retrator button works amazing - watch your legs.

Overall, I would buy this vac in a heartbeat! Especially at the steal we got it for on sale!"

Hi,
You are supposed to be able to get replacement bags at the Canadian Tire store..however I have only seen them there once and they always seem to be sold out. I have looked elsewhere but have never seen them for sale.
