Great Lights!

"I purchased 2 sets (total 6 lights) of these in April 2011 to replace previous NOMA lights I had used for several years (including winters). They are lighter in weight than the previous ones but provide much brighter light.

One of the lights stopped working in August - I packed up the box of 3 lights and took them to Cdn Tire this morning (October 2011) and fortunately they still had 2 more boxes left before going into winter storage. The customer service rep said they are guaranteed at the store level for 1 year (that made me very happy indeed).

I have them hung on the provided post/hooks that go into small holes a friend drilled into my fence so they are about 5' off the ground. This enables me to leave them out all year round (have to dust the snow off them for the solar feature to be able to collect the sunlight).

NOMA is a good name and Cdn Tire are really good about doing exchange (be sure to keep the box and your receipt for the year as proof of purchase).... I would highly recommend these lamps - good value (watch for sales in spring)"

"I bought 2 sets of these and look forward to changing them soon.

They have snaps to open them to turn them on or off for the season. Two of my six have at least one broken snap. Inside you have elements like mini hockey pucks. Several of mine have these elements falling out. Lastly the batteries they come with needed to be replaced in several lights after a short period of time."

"I was very surprised at how nice these lights were. I did not expect have the option of using these lights coach style and staked in the ground.
The look really nice and complement my front garden nicely. The 40% off didn't hurt either !"

"Times they are not so good", to really save money you have to look solar. This product lights up your drive at no cost other than the purchase price. And if you go away for a weekend, you don't have to worry, the lights come on at dusk, giving the appearance of people at home."

"Lights up nicely. Long lasting light. Comes apart easy for cleaning. Even though it is plastic it's quite strong. And Noma is a name you can trust. It's been around a long time. Still have mine after almost 3 years. They even work in the winter. As long as you keep snow off the solar panels it will work. Looks great on the snow."

I have not been able to find replacement bulbs for these lights (52-0156-6). Can I order them online and have them shipped to me?

Answer:

The 05-2414-0 have a built in LED light that should never wear out for the life of the product and is therefore not replaceable. Usually if a light stops working, it is the battery. We would recommend that you try replacing the battery for this product with Canadian Tire product #052-5024-0.

Unfortunatley Canadian Tire only sells a three pack of these lights. They are not sold individually.

Answer:

Buy the 3-pack. If one bites the dust even when a new battery does not work, you have 2 others as stand by. They are a beautiful light. And you will have them for a long time. If you still only want one, give the other 2 as gifts. They'll Love you for it.
