Excellent, if you know how to use it

"If you, like me, tried to sit on display chair and couldn't, don't let it to discourage you: instruction says how to use this chair.

It's manageable by feet pulling the bottom bar: down to sit, up to desired angle, up to horizontal position. There are brakes for fixing chair in desired position, but much easier is to lay your achille's tendons on bottom bar and balance by own weight.

Take care not to lose the two black detachable plastic thingies, they should be on the sides of bottom bar to protect it.

Mesh back is indispensable in hot weather, but in cold weather it's better to have some warm throw over it.

Heavy to carry in and out to protect from elements, didn't risk to leave it under rain.

Holds well moderately overweight individuals.

Pillow could be used as a back rest.

Overall it is most comfortable lounge chair, highly recommended. Extra long people may prefer Delux version with extended footstep."

Time for some Zs

"Probably the only portable lounger in which I can catch some Zs at the campsite or in my backyard... infinitely more comfortable than the old-fashioned cot-style.

It's true that the plastic bits - especially the locks - feel flimsy, and that a less-intrusive foot bar would make it better for long-legged people like me. But for the money involved (especially on sale) it was too good to pass up.

We opted for the black colour for better stain resistance than beige. Although black is generally hotter in the sun, this one comes with a noticeably more open weave for better ventilation."

Love our chairs

"I bought two of these chairs on sale in the spring. Had heard great things about them, and they did not let us down. We love them!!! Very comfortable, and so far they have weathered quite well. They are a little clumsy when moving them around, but once you get used to the proper way to carry them . . . well, it's no longer a problem. Would definitely recommend them!"

Rusted in 1 day

"The quality of these chairs is horrible!

We bought 2 for our deck and it is laughable to say that they are weather resistant. It rained the day we bought them. We went out to sit in them the next morning and they were rusted in a number of places. Don't waste your money on these. They may be comfortable, but they are rusted junk after 1 day. Very disappointing! We returned ours."

Good chair

"Very comfortable chair seems to be holding up to the camping seasons nicely. Only draw back is the brake on the arm rests to stop from reclining seems a little weak when you only want to recline half way or so."

Tall people may find it short

"Purchased this chair as a door crasher special for less than half price. Is very comfortable and easy to recline in. I'm 6 foot 3 inches so I do wish the leg part of the chair was longer, but I can manage. Not a bad deal if you can get one on sale."

Comfort Factor

"We got a couple of these for the cottage since our muskoka chairs were wearing down, and i've got to say that they are a hit! They are incredibly comfortable. You can sit up proper, or swing back and relax. The fabric is durable and as far as i can tell so is the rest of the chair. I've had them for 2 years now and no problems. My only concern is the use of plastic on all of the main hinges, i'll be interested to see how well they hold up over time - so far no signs of wear or stress. Great chairs!"

Relaxed

"Comfortable, easy to store, and no work to setting it up. I have spent many hours reading and relaxing in this chair, where I could not in other loungers, as I had to keep adjusting for comfort. My only complaint is that it is awkward to cart around if necessary, you need both hands to carry it, as it opens up with no locking system."

No. You can only lay on your back. It's designed to follow the nature curve of your spine, not your sternum. If you try to lay on your front on it, you'll be seeing a chiropractor the next day.
